Hannah's Birthday part 1

Here are some pictures that my mother-in-law, Judy, took while there were here to celebrate Hannah's Birthday with us on Sunday (the 15th).
Ben's sister, Nikki and her roommate Aimee made Hannah this beautiful cape! She looks just like little red riding rood!

Hannah loved the cake they brought for her, too. It had 5 of the Disney princesses on it, and said "Happy Birthday Hannah!" -Delicious!

We had a lovely visit and can't wait to see them again soon!

Happy Valentines Day!

Hello! So since I still don't have a camera, I wasn't able to take pictures of our Valentine festivities, but I can tell you about them! We were fortunate to have Hannah for the weekend so starting out Saturday morning, Hannah and I got up to make heart-shaped pancakes. We decided to try and make them pink, too, so Hannah helped put in the red food coloring. The pancakes were delicious and very cute!
After running some errands, we went over to my mom's house to visit and while we were there, we made Chocolate Covered Pretzels - Yum! Hannah put sprinkles on them after we dipped them in either pink, white or dark chocolate. That was a fun project!
Sunday, Ben's parents came for a visit along with his sister, Nikki and her roommate Aimee. We went out to lunch, then had a little Birthday party for Hannah. We had a really nice visit.
So, I've finally bought a new camera! I ordered it Tuesday night, and it hasn't shipped yet, (which I'm quite distressed about, because I wanted to have it in time for Hannah's birthday on the 24th), but I'm hopeful that it will arrive on time.
It is a Canon PowerShot 880 IS.

It got excellent reviews and cnet.com said it was the best compact digital camera on the market "With a wide-angle lens, good performance and excellent photo quality for its class, the Canon PowerShot SD880 is a great choice in the compact camera category."
Needless to say - I can't wait to get it!!

My wonderful husband sent me flowers at work on Friday, are they beautiful? :) Can you read the note? haha
