Crook Farm Country Fair

Sunday, my parents took Hannah to Crook Farm. She had a blast!
Here she is riding "Rock" the big white horse. She was so brave!

She got her face painted like a tiger!

There was a "Musical Petting Zoo" and Hannah got to play all sorts of instruments

They traveled 5 hours!

We had a great visit, so glad they could come.

Happy Half-Birthday, Hannah!

Half-way through our Tuesday, we remembered that it was Hannah's half-birthday...so to celebrate, we went on an adventure!

We went hiking on the trail at Marilla Reservoir.

It was a beautiful day!

So, Hannah, Happy 4-and-a-half years old! We love you very much!

Shakespeare's Twelfth Night

The Olean Theatre Workshop put on a production of "Twelfth Night" in Oak Hill Park that Hannah, Ben and I attended. It was fantastic!
Hannah was even able to follow the story and we talked about it after - she's so smart! :)

Everyone did a great job! We really enjoyed it!
We are looking forward to next years productions.

NC Trip: Visiting the Vos Family

Last week we went to visit my sister and her family in NC.
While we were there we went to the little Cupcake Store, Ikea for the first time (which was amazing!), the Outlet Mall, and REI. We, mainly Katie, baked bread out of freshly ground flour, went to a really awesome Sovereign Grace Church, and spent time at their home enjoying the family.

Camping!....in the back yard :)

We're been trying to take Hannah camping all summer, but we haven't been able to find time. ...so we decided we'd try it out in the back yard. It was really fun! A great trial run, hopefully we will be able to go out in the woods sometime in the next few weeks.
